This is a great snorkeling beach, crowded yes but so worth it. The water is calm making this location perfect for all ages. Many fish, urchins & sea turtles to be seen here. :)

Great place to snorkel - shallow coral all the way out a few hundred feet - and if you get lucky (and stick to the left side) you might see a sea turtle

What a fun and friendly place. Hug the walls at the south end and follow around to find turtles hanging out away from the snorkelers.

Easily accessible snorkeling spot in Kona, with clear water. Great for families, shallow with lots of fish. On the north side of the beach along the highway you'll find surf lessons and gear rentals.

Don't let the crowded beach to discourage you. This is one of the best snorkeling spot I have been to. Just swim by the kids crowd and enjoy the wonderful tropical fish beyond them. Shallow and calm.

Unbelievable snorkeling at a public beach. You can rent snorkels and fins on sight for a few bucks. Gets pretty crowded if you swim out a bit it opens up
